Legal
Terms of service.
Last updated · 28 July 2026
These terms cover your use of bielfor.com and any software I ship under Bielfor LLC, starting with Creator MAX. By installing or using it, you agree to them. They're short on purpose, and written plainly.
1. Your license
Creator MAX is a one-time purchase of $49.99. There is no subscription. When you buy, I grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, commercial-use license to the version you purchased and to every future Creator MAX update, at no extra cost.
- Your perpetual license to the purchased version remains valid even if I stop selling or supporting the product.
- Single seat. One license is for one operator. You may install and use it on the machines you personally work on.
- All updates are included for free, for life, including future major versions.
2. Acceptable use
You may:
- Use the output in your own and your clients' commercial work, including ad campaigns, deliverables, books, games, and final products.
- Keep using your version indefinitely, offline once installed and licensed.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the plugin itself.
- Reverse-engineer the plugin or circumvent its license check.
- Use it to generate content that violates the acceptable-use policy of Adobe or of the AI provider whose key you used. Those policies apply to your usage on their platforms.
3. Generation costs and your API keys
Creator MAX is bring-your-own-key. It calls the AI provider you enable (Google, OpenAI, or xAI) directly from Photoshop, using the key you supply. You pay that provider directly for generation costs, at their published rates.
- Bielfor adds no markup. I don't touch, meter, or resell provider usage. The license fee is the only money that goes to Bielfor.
- Provider availability, pricing, quotas, and model changes are outside my control. I'm not responsible for a provider's downtime, price changes, rate limits, or discontinued models.
- Manage your spend, quotas, and billing in your own provider account.
4. Ownership of what you generate
Bielfor claims no ownership of the images you generate with Creator MAX. Because each generation runs against your own provider key, rights to the output are governed by the API terms of the provider you used (Google, OpenAI, or xAI). Review those terms for the model you rely on, especially for commercial work.
5. Refunds
The store that took the payment handles the refund. For an Adobe order, Adobe Exchange controls refund eligibility, the decision, the transaction, and timing; use the refund or support option Adobe presents for your order. For an aescripts + aeplugins order, aescripts takes the payment and issues the refund under its own published terms. The full process for both is on the refund policy page. Email support@bielfor.com for seller-side questions; Bielfor cannot guarantee approval or timing. Any approved refund covers the plugin license only; it does not cover generation costs paid directly to an AI provider.
6. Warranty disclaimer
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I test every release against current Adobe Photoshop, including the Beta channel, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted operation or same-day compatibility with every future Adobe or provider change. If something breaks, email me and I'll work to fix it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bielfor's total liability for any claim arising from the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Bielfor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or provider costs. Bielfor is a one-person studio. Use judgement before placing the software in the critical path of a deadline you can't miss.
8. Termination
You can stop using the software at any time. This license ends only if you materially breach these terms (for example, redistribution or circumventing the license check). If it ends, you lose access to updates, but nothing remotely deletes the files you already generated.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved by email is subject to the courts located in Delaware.
If you are a consumer, this clause does not remove any mandatory consumer protections granted by the law of the country where you live, and it does not restrict any court or dispute-resolution rights that cannot legally be waived.
10. Changes to these terms
If I update these terms, I'll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the software after that means you accept the updated terms.
